(1515-87)
Italian historiographer and talmudist. He was born in Imola and lived in various cities in Italy before settling in Alexandria. His Shalshelet ha-Kabbalah consists of a history of the Jewish people, scientific tractates and a chronicle of events from creation to the 16th century.
